Rupnow, Ginger L. (3 March 1947 - 14 May 2013)
Ginger L. Rupnow, 66, of Humbird died Tuesday, May 14, 2013, in her home in the
Town of Mentor, Clark County while under the care of Black River Memorial
Hospice.
Ginger was born March 3, 1947, in the Township of La Grange in
Monroe County to Tom and Beatrice (Pierce) Finch. She was raised in Black River
Falls, Tunnel City, Tomah, Merrillan and the Snow Creek are of Jackson County.
She graduated from Alma Center Lincoln High School in 1965. In January of 1966
she married Melvin Rupnow. Ginger owned and operated Snapper’s Chatter Box
Tavern in Merrillan from 1990 to 1996.
Surviving Ginger are her husband,
Melvin; one son, Randy Rupnow, Humbird; three grandchildren, Chad, Casey and
Kaitlyn Rupnow, three great-grandchildren, Thomas, Boe and Isabella.
She
was preceded in death by a son, Tony; a daughter, Jody; her parents; and a
brother, Glen Finch.
Funeral services for Ginger L. Rupnow were held at
1:30 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013, at the Jensen-Modjeski Funeral Home
(725-963-2311) Hixton. Services were conducted by Rev. Terry Marg, and burial
was in the Mentor Cemetery, Humbird. Relatives and friends called at the funeral
home Friday from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. and Saturday from 12:30 p.m. until the time
of services.
