Former Medford resident
Barbara Jean "Barb" Wille, 65, Durango, Colo., died on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at
Littleton Adventist Hospital in Littleton, Colo. A memorial service will be held
on Monday, Dec. 2 at 1 p.m. at The Veranda in Medford, with Rev. Michael Meier
officiating. Interment of her cremated remains will take place at Medford
Evergreen Cemetery.
Visitation will be held at The Veranda on Monday from
11 a.m. until the time of service.
Hemer Funeral Homes of Medford and Rib
Lake assisted the family with arrangements.
Barbara Wille was born on
October 14, 1947 in Medford to Adolph and Dorothy (Vlach) Wille. She attended
Town of Chelsea elementary schools and was a 1964 graduate of Westboro High
School. She worked at the Taylor County Register of Deeds office in Medford.
In 1967 in Medford, she married Michael Polacek, and they divorced in 1992.
In 2008 in Durango, she married Randall "Randy" Faber, who survives. For most of
her life she worked as a health care provider while residing in Wausau, Rib Lake
and for the past 15 years in Durango.
She enjoyed the outdoors, fishing,
hobby farming, hiking, hunting, skiing and gardening.
In addition to her
husband, Randall, survivors include her mother, Dorothy Wille of Chelsea; three
sons, Neal Polacek of Durango, and Guy Polacek and Kim Polacek, both of Medford;
two sisters, Linda Garrett of Edgewater, FL, and Nancy Rohland of Medford; three
brothers, Roger, David and Ralph Wille, all of Chelsea; and two grandchildren,
Caleb and Rileigh Polacek.
She was preceded in death by her father,
Adolph Wille in 2004, and two brothers, Dennis Wille in 1964 and Alan Wille in
2004.
