Mohr, Mildred Mae (27 June 1928 - 16 November 2013)

Mildred Mohr, 85, of Neillsville passed away Nov. 16, 2013, at her home with her family by her side under the care of Ministry Home Care Hospice.

Mildred Mae Lloyd was born June 27, 1928, in Neillsville, the daughter of Byno and Mary (Pretsch) Lloyd. She attended the Silver Crest School and later, was married to Donald C. Mohr, July 18, 1947, in Neillsville. They were married 50 years. After her marriage, she became a housewife and stay-at-home mom while raising her nine children.

She was a member of the Calvary Lutheran Church in Neillsville. Her hobbies included vegetable gardening, canning foods, spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed playing all card, dice and board games. She was a NASCAR fan and especially liked Dale Earnhardt. She was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan.

She is survived by her nine children: Donna Bennett of Owen, Jim (Karen) Mohr, Fred Mohr, Ronnie Mohr, all of Neillsville, Gary (Judy) Mohr of Mosinee, Joann (Jim) Schilling, Randy Mohr, Steve (Katie) Mohr, and Diane (Rick) Millard, all of Neillsville. Mildred is also survived by 29 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Doris Kopp of Neillsville; and two brothers, Dewayne Lloyd of Stoughton and Edwin Lloyd, Sr., of Neillsville.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald C. Mohr, Jan. 12, 1997; her parents, Byno (1998) and Mary (1997) Lloyd; a son-in-law; two daughters-in-law; and a granddaughter.

Funeral services for Mildred will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 22, 2013, at the Gesche Funeral Home in Neillsville. Pastor Jacoba Koppert will officiate. Interment will be in the Neillsville City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home.

Casketbearers will be her six sons, Jim, Fred, Ronnie, Gary, Randy and Steve Mohr.
