Greenwood (24 June 1971)

Mrs. George Caliebe spent the weekend in Greenfield with her daughter, Mrs. Charles (Verna) Graebler, and family. She attended the graduation from high school of her grandson, Robert Graebler, who also became an Eagle Scout the same week. Her granddaughter, Kim Graebler, became a first class Girl Scout.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith arrived Friday from Grants, N. M. On Saturday they left for Elk Mound, accompanied by her mother, Mrs. John Meng, to visit at the Ray Johnson home. They left Monday for Colorado Springs, Colo., where Mrs. Meng will reside.

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Decker and family returned Saturday after a two-week trip to Orlando, Fla., where they visited his brother, Bernard Decker, and family. They also spent some time in Chicago with his mother, Mrs. Theodore Decker.

The American Lutheran Church women will meet this (Thursday) evening at 8 o’clock. Hostesses will be Mrs. Harold Hendrickson, Mrs. Kenneth Hium and Mrs. Adeline Jackson. The program will be in charge of the Naomi Circle.

The United Youth Fellowship meeting will be held Sunday evening at Immanuel United Church. The study will be, “Jesus Christ, Super Star.” Hosts will be Sharon and Larry Logue and Brenda and John Lust.

Mrs. John Meng and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Smith were guests Friday at the Edgar Opdyke home.

Mr and Mrs. Robert Van Keuren, Patrice, Jeffrey and James, arrived Friday from Wooster, O., to spend a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Stewart.

Dr. and Mrs. Gary Rohde, Dean and Douglas, of River Falls arrived Thursday to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Rohde.

Visitors Monday at the Harlan Brux home were Mr and Mrs. Kenneth Dearth of Wautoma, former Greenwood residents.

Miss Carol Severson and Roy Kaisler of Milwaukee were weekend visitors at the home of her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Bayuk of Milwaukee visited Sunday at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bayuk.

Visitors Sunday at the Robert Stewart home were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart and family of Stanley and Mrs. and Mrs. Richard Korn and family of Eau Claire.
