Schultz, Lowell (14 Oct 1892 – 12 Feb 1967)
Lowell H. Schultz, 74, route 2, Spencer, died at 1:32 p,m. Sunday at St.
Joseph’s Hospital at Marshfield.
Services were held at 1 p.m. at the
First Presbyterian Church in Marshfield on Wednesday, February 15, with the Rev.
Virgil E. Taylor officiating and burial was made in the Veefkind cemetery.
The Hansen Funeral Home in Marshfield was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Schultz was born October 14, 1892, in Veefkind, Clark County, and
received his education in the town of Sherman. His marriage to Ida Guetschow
took place May 17, 1913, at the Veefkind Presbyterian Church. He lived and
farmed in that area all his life.
He had served as town chairman for 34
years, school district clerk; county board member and the highway commission of
Clark County. He was also a member of te First Presbyterian Church of
Marshfield.
The couple celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on May
17, 1963
In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Alice
Rahm, Marshfield; tow sons, Howard, route 2, Spencer and Lawrence of route 1,
Granton four sisters; 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He
is preceded in death by a sister, two brothers and a grandson.
