Degan, Albert (16 July 1888
– 10 Feb 1967)
Albert Degan of 189 Mill Road, North Hamton, New
Hampshire, died suddenly at his home February 10.
The youngest of seven
children, he was born near Loyal, July 16, 1888, the son of William and Mina
(Mitzelberg) Degan, and was at the time a member of the Hercules Lodge of
I.O.O.F.
of Greenwood.
Mr. Degan was a retired farmer and during World
War 1 was a ship fitter at the naval shipyard at Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Gertrude (Pearson) Degan;a daughter, Mrs.
Albert Blaney, both of North Hampton, New Hampshire; also a sister. Mrs. Martha
Witt, Loyal; and several nieces and nephews.
