Kubat, Mary (13 Mar 1881 – 01 Mar 1967)
Mrs. Mary Kubat, 85, died Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Hospital of
complications.
The body will lie in state at the Myre Funeral Home
beginning Thursdaymorning.
Services will be held Friday at St. Anthony’s
Catholic Church, Loyal and burial will be made in the parish cemetery. The Rev.
Norbert E. King will officiate.
St. Mary’s Altar Society will say a
rosary at 3 p.m. and a general rosary will be said at 8 p.m. on Thursday
The former Mary Biecha, as born on March 13, 1881 in the town of Eaton, and
married William Kubat on September 30, 1908 at Loyal. After their marriage the
couple operated a creamery in the southern part of the state for seventeen
years. They then farmed in the town of York for 28 years and moved to a farm
near Greenwood and farmed there for 2 years until the death of her husband on
July 23, 1951. Sh then moved to Loyal and made her home here.
Mrs. Kubat
was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and St, Mary’s Altar Society.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Two brothers and one
sister preceded her in death.
