Scholtz, Frank R. (19 July 1888 - 4 July 1971)

Funeral services for Frank R. Scholtz, 82, of Memorial Home, who died July 4, were held Wednesday, July 7 at 1:30 p.m. from the Georgas Funeral Home. The Rev. Melvin Nickel of the United Methodist Church officiated. Burial was to be made in the Nasonville Cemetery, following cremation.

Frank Scholtz, the son of Albert and Bertha (Zipfel) Scholtz, was born July 19, 1888, in the Town of Sherwood. He received his education in Clark County schools, worked on the farm as a young man, and farmed in the Sherwood area until his retirement. His marriage to the former Arlene Anderson took place November 30, 1911, in Nasonville. Mrs. Scholtz preceded her husband in death in 1918.

Survivors include: one son, Vernon F. Scholtz of Waukesha; four sisters, Mrs. Mamie Gall of Memorial Home, Mrs. John (Minnie) Voegeli of Cambria, Mrs. William (Isabel) Tullis and Mrs. Beulah DeFoe, both of Waukesha; two brothers, Ralph Scholtz of Granton and Lewis Scholtz of Neillsville; two grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
