Gina De Fatti (28 JAN 1974 - 8 DEC 2013)
Gina Del Fatti Johnson, 39,
Greenwood, passed away at her home on Sunday, Dec. 8, 2013. A memorial service
will be held at 2 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 13, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church,
Greenwood. Rev. Brian Campbell will officiate. Visitation will be held at the
church on Friday from noon until time of services.
Gina Del Fatti was
born on Jan. 28, 1974, in Marshfield, the daughter of Matt and Diane (nee
Podevels) Del Fatti. She was raised and received her education in Greenwood,
graduating from Greenwood High School in 1992, and then attending Chippewa
Valley Technical College for one year. Gina married Trent M. Johnson on Jan. 6,
1993, in Neillsville. She operated a day care at her home from 1994-2004, caring
for the children of many of the Greenwood families. When grown, those children
frequently came back to visit and reminisce about those "day care" days and what
was happening in their lives. In 2004, she went to work for her father at Del
Fatti Leather. She was her dad's "Right Hand Man" and was highly regarded by
customers around the world for her bright personality and knowledge of the
company's custom work. Gina was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church. She
had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her kids and family,
and gardening.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Trent,

Jaeger Anthony Del Fatti Johnson; her parents, Matt and Diane Del Fatti,

Podevels, Colby; her Godparents, Ricky and Donna Podevels, Bob and Loni Klinke,
and Tony and Mary Del Fatti; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and

In lieu of fl owers, the family asks that memorials be given in Gina's honor
to be used for her children's education which she so highly valued.
