Briski, Joseph Jr. (Joins Marines - FEB 1952)
Joseph Briski Jr., son of Mrs. Joseph Briski Sr. of Greenwood (Clark Co.,
Wis.), is now undergoing training at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot, San Diego,
Calif.
The 20-year-old former Greenwood student was inducted in the
Marine Corps at Minneapolis, Minn. recently.
During the eight-week "Boot
Camp", as recruit training is commonly called, Private Briski will become well
versed in such military subjects as precision drill, first aid, Marine Corps
history and mission and field tactics.
Briski was employed as a farmer
before reporting for service with the Marine Corps.
