Behrens, Clyde (25 JUN 1893 - 10 MAR 1952)

Clyde Behrens, son of Otto and Louisa (Cummings) Behrens, was born in Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) on June 25, 1893. He received his education here and lived and worked here all his life.

He passed away suddenly at 5:00 p.m. on Monday, March 10, 1952 from a heart attack at the Clayton Kohlnhofer farm, where he had been employed.

He is survived by one brother Fred of Greenwood. His parents and a brother Carroll preceded him in death.

The body is lying in state at the Stabnow Funeral Home where services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 13, with the Rev. Lee Holmes officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Greenwood Cemetery.

During the service Mrs. Louis Behrens and Mrs. Ronald Tieman sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "In the Garden," accompanied by Mrs. Wm. Olson at the piano.

The pallbearers were George Speich, John Speich, Ray Rossman, Carl Stabnow, Clayton Kohlnhofer and Merrill Hare.
