Jeanette Plautz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John
Plautz, a second-year student at St. Mary's School of Nursing, Wausau, was
recently elected president of the 8th District of the Wis. State Student Nurses
Organization.
The W.S.N.A. consists of 12 districts covering all schools
of Nursing in the state and has as its purpose and betterment of conditions in
schools and building opportunities for the students. Students meet and compare
ideas on money making devices, discipline, publicity, recruitment, social
activities, etc.
Miss Plautz, along with Miss Capra, Iron Mountain,
Mich., and Miss Boelter, Thorp, will attend the spring convention at Madison,
March 28th and 29th. The theme will be "Lanning for the future."
