Mathew Kramerich, 72, died at St. Joseph's Hospital,
Marshfield on Tuesday, March 18, 1952 at 7:0 a.m. Death was attributed to old
age complications.
He was born March 16, 1880 in Austria Hungary and came
to the United States in 1900. He spent several years in Calumet, Mich., then
moved to Minnesota, where he worked for the Power and Light Company at High
Range.
A Requiem Mass was read at 9:00 a.m. on Friday, March 21st at St.
Mary's Catholic Church, with Rev. Edward Hartung officiating. Burial was made in
the Holy Family Cemetery at Willard.
Until the time of the services his
body lay in state at the home of his brother-in-law and sister, Mr. and Mrs.
John Verschay, Sr., with whom he made his home for the past 3 1/2 years.
The pallbearers were Anton Jeras, Joe W. Verschay, John T. Verschay, Wm. Pikuch,
Wm. Del Sato and John Kramerich.
Mr. Kramerich, who was single, is
survived by his sister, Mrs. John Verschay, and one brother, Joseph, of Detroit,
Mich., and fifteen nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his
mother and father and one sister.
Those from away who attended the
funeral were: Mrs. Henry Isaacson, Chicago; Mrs. Paul Meyer, Minocqua; Mrs.
Joseph Kramerich and Mr. and Mrs. John Kramerich, Detroit; Mr. and Mrs. Wm.
Pikuch and Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Del Sato, Duluth; and Mr. and Mrs. John Verschay,
Willard.
