Alice Plunkett of Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.), a student
nurse at St. Francis Hospital School of Nursing, La Crosse, was pictured in the
March issue of The Crusader, monthly health journal of the Wis.
Anti-Tuberculosis Assoc.
The issue is devoted to "Better Health for
Nurses," and features articles about several state nursing schools, and their
programs of health protection. Miss Plunkett is pictured skating with two other
student nurses on the hospital tennis courts. The Crusader reports that
recreation at St. Francis Hospital is considered an important part of the
general health program.
