Frances "Lena" A. Bartelt,
86, Town of Greenwood, died on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Golden LivingCenter in Rib
Lake.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11 a.m. at
St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rib Lake, with Rev. Joseph Dietrich
officiating. Interment will be at St. Peter's Lutheran Church Cemetery in Rib
Lake.
Active urnbearer is Kevin. Honorary urnbearers are Tami, Shawn,
Greg and Leslie.
Visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9
a.m. until the time of service.

Church, Medford to Harold Bartelt, where they celebrated 65 years.
Principal events in life: After school Frances worked at the Creamery in
Medford, met Harold and was married. She then was a homemaker and helped on the
farm. In 1959, they then moved to the Milwaukee area where she worked at the
Amron Corp. In June of 1973 they moved back to the Medford area where she was a
housewife, worked at the Rib Lake shoe factory and Weathershield in the Millwork
Dept. until her retirement in 1987. Frances was also the bookkeeper for her
husband’s business. She loved to fish from morning to evening, baking cookies,
especially for Christmas and reading the Bible.

Harold (Jayne) Bartelt of Longview, WA, Edward (Laura) Bartelt of Cape Coral, FL

Bartelt of Medford
Surviving grandchildren: 5; surviving
great-grandchildren: 9
Surviving sibling: Marcella Saltis of Longview, WA
Deceased parents: Amandus Kauss; Olga (Srietlow); Deceased siblings:
Brothers William, Ernest, Edwin, Leo, Harold, Herbert and John Kauss; Sisters:
Marie, Elsie, Hulda and Louise
