Mr. and Mrs. Jack Seibold visited at the Jake Speich home Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. George Speich were Marshfield callers Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Steiger spent Sunday at the Dr. Elmer Steiger home at Plum City.

Mr. and Mrs. Palmer Vinger spent Saturday night and Sunday at the Gus Anderson home at Athens.

Warren Justman of Spencer visited at the George Speich home last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kowieski and family visited Sunday at the Arnold Vandehey home at Stanley and at the John Kowieski home at Thorp.

Mr. and Mrs. O.R. Thompson of Rib Lake visited his mother, Mrs. Mary Thompson, at the Robert Stewart home on Friday.

Mr. and Mrs. E.A. Fleischauer of Colby visited their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Clifton Fonstad, on Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Fegre of Park Rapids, Minn., and Mr. and Mrs. Ed Hegenbarth spent Thursday p.m. at the Marvin Karlen home at Boyd.

Mrs. E.H. Axelson returned to Chicago last Wednesday after helping care for her father, Adolph Turnquist, who underwent a major operation on his leg at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Thompson Jr. and sons Dick and Dave of Tomahawk, Mr. and Mrs. Glen Stewart, Mary and James of Marshfield, and Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Stewart visited Sunday at the Robert Stewart home.

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Bertz, Chicago; Mrs. Jack Felix and Douglas, spent Sunday with Adolph Turnquist at Luther Hospital, Eau Claire.

Miss Catherine Braun of Eau Claire spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Braun.

Edward Braun, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Braun, left Wednesday morning for Ames, Iowa where he is attending Iowa State College. He spent his quarterly vacation with his parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Louie Seibold of Alberta, Canada are visiting his brother John and his sister, Mrs. Hubert Kuehn, and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Friedel spent Sunday with relatives at Clear Lake, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Staple Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Hegenbarth visited Sunday afternoon with Albert and Annie Mathison.

Mrs. Ole Anderson and daughter Lucy of Withee spent the weekend at the Bud Ackerman home.

Mrs. H.L. Linneman and Mrs. Shirley MacMillan of Owen spent Sunday with Mrs. John Wuethrich.

Miss Joan Barnes of Marshfield spent Sunday with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. R.L. Barnes.

Mrs. Louis Behrens and Mrs. W.A. Stewart were Marshfield callers on Tuesday of last week.

Mrs. E.L. Ketchpaw spent several days last week at the Melvin Erickson home at Withee caring for her sister Mrs. Erickson, who was ill.

Mrs. Fred Hohl, Mrs. Edwin Hohl, Mrs. Robert Bartelt and son James were at Eau Claire Friday, where Mrs. Edwin Hohl visited Mrs. Anny Arbs and the rest attended the music festival.

Arnold Beyer and Ed Braun attended the annual meeting of the Wis. Cheese Producer's Cooperative at Plymouth, Wis., last Thursday. Arnold Beyer received recognition in the 1951 quality contest, where he rated second place.

Mrs. George Cline spent the weekend at Merrill with friends.

Allen and Bobby Schneider spent the weekend with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Buss at Curtiss.

John Thompson of Arlington, Va. spent Monday and Tuesday, March 24 and 25, with his mother, Mrs. Mary Thompson at the Robert Stewart home.

Mr. and Mrs. H.M. Bergeman and family spent Sunday at the Gus Bergeman home at Granton and helped Mr. Gus Bergeman celebrate his birthday anniversary.

Paul Staple, who underwent an operation at St. Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, returned home last Wednesday.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Cline of Two Rivers spent the weekend with their uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hohl.

Mary Jo Hales of Loyal spent Monday with her grandmother, Mrs. Geo. Haeuser.

Allen Wuethrich, Dr. W.A. Olson and Robert Stewart attended the School Board Convention at Milwaukee from Wednesday until Friday of last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Wotske and daughter Carole, accompanied by Mrs. Lawrence Johnson and daughters Betty and Marian, enjoyed a trip to Wabeno and Winona, Minn., and other points of interest in Minnesota and Wisconsin on Sunday.
