Ethel Dorothy Harris became the bride of
John C. Aberg in a double ring ceremony held March 16, 1952 at the parsonage of
the Viroqua Lutheran Church, the Rev. O.M. Kieven officiating.
The bride
wore a candy pink suit, hat and accessories and carried a spray of orchids and
white hyacinth on a white Bible.
Mrs. Selma Latimer was matron of honor.
She wore a wheat tan suit, yellow hat and accessories, and a corsage of yellow
roses and ivy.
The bride's mother wore a gray suit with pink accessories
and a corsage of variegated pink carnations.
Melvin Hendrickson was best
man.
Following the wedding ceremony a buffet supper was served for the
bridal party and immediate relatives and friends, after which Mr. and Mrs. Aberg
left on a short honeymoon trip to Northern Minnesota.
Mr. Aberg is well
known in this community and his bride is a registered roentgenalogist technician
at the Vernon Memorial Hospital.
Mrs. Wayne La Borde entertained at a
pre-nuptial shower for the bride, who was presented with a gift of sterling
silver.
