Niemi, Pfc. Wm. (Military Graduation - APR 1952)
Indiantown Gap, Pa. -- Pfc. William L. Niemi of Route 1, Owen (Clark Co.),
Wis., was recently graduated from the 5th Infantry Division's eight week Leaders
Course here at Indiantown Gap.
Expert instructors, mostly veterans of
Korea and World War II, gave him advanced training in weapons, combat tactics,
map reading and many other features of modern war.
The 20-year-old son of
Mr. and Mrs. William Niemi is a graduate of Greenwood High School and attended
St. Olaf College and Eau Claire State before he was inducted last September.
