Bonnie (Salutatorian - 1952)
Three Greenwood High School seniors who will
receive special honors at their graduation program Tuesday, May 20 are Mathew
Malnar, Bonnie Worchel, and Beverly Reinke. They are to be honored for their
excellent scholastic achievements and active participation in school activities
during the past four years.
Bonnie Rae Worchel, daughter of the late
Arnold Worchel, and who is residing with her aunt and uncle, Mr. and Mrs. Edward
Hillert, Greenwood, has also made an exceptional record scholastically and is
the salutatorian of the Class of 1952. Bonnie has also done very fine work as
the editor of the school paper, the "Echo", during the past year. She is also a
member of the mixed chorus and has competed in music festivals in vocal
ensembles. She served as secretary of the class as a sophomore and secretary of
the library club as a junior. Bonnie was active in forensics her first three
years in high school and was in the junior class play.
