Neillsville News (11 December 2013)

Tammy and Duane Marty hosted Thanksgiving dinner at their rural Neillsville home. Attending were Alex and Lisa Dahlke, Wausau; T. J. Dahlke, Aurora, IL; Lucas Dahlke and friend, Aaron Appfelbech, Wausau; Michael Marty and friend, Cloe Ihle, La Crosse; Melissa, Cole, Gage and Katy Gurney, Eau Claire; Mathew Marty and Breanna; Kelsy Marty and friend, Robert LaBarbera, and Mayona Lewis, all of Neillsville; Greg and Jo Meyer, Necedah, and three dogs, Chipper, Bruiser and Meatball.

Paul Bertz, King George, VA, flew into Madison the Friday before deer season to spend time with his parents, Jack and Jane Bertz, Verona. Brother Peter picked Paul up at the airport. Paul came to go hunting with his dad, Jack. They hunted in the Mt. Horeb area. Tuesday, Paul drove to Neillsville. He had good roads until he hit Clark County with our few inches of snow. He visited his mother-in-law, Mayona Lewis, and Tammy Marty joined them for lunch. Paul returned the same day as his brother, Phillip Bertz, Marshfield, was going to join his dad and Paul hunt on Wednesday. Sister, Lauren (Bertz), Baltimore, MD area, had flown into Madison earlier in the week, so they all had a nice get-together. Brother, Patrick, and wife, Lou, had gone to North Carolina to see their daughter so missed the get-together.

Dustin, Julie and Katerina Northup, Cypress, TX, spent Tuesday through Friday last week with Dustin’s parents, Dale and Diane Northup in Marshfield, with his grandmother, Melba Campbell, Neillsville, and with other relatives and friends in the area. They also spent a few days in Minnesota with Julie’s family.

Alene Lautenbach and Amber Pischer accompanied Carrie Christie to Sun Prairie Saturday, Dec. 7, to attend the wedding of Nicole Dybevik and Lucas Zautner. Nicole is the daughter of Mike and Sherie (Marg) Dybevik and the granddaughter of Rhoena Marg. The wedding was held at Peace Lutheran Church, followed by an elegant reception, dinner and dance held at the Lake Winsor Country Club. Hi to Mike’s sister, Nancy.
