Globe (15 July 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Huettenrauch of Milwaukee were given a 15th anniversary charivari party at their summer home by relatives and friends Saturday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mitte and daughters of Manitowoc spent a week’s vacation with relatives and friends in the Globe and Neillsville areas. Miss Pamela Vincent is spending a week at their home in Manitowoc.

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux visited Thursday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family.

The Globe snowmobile club enjoyed a picnic dinner at Snyder’s Park Sunday.

Kurt Schoenherr of Columbus and Roger Northup of Chicago, on their return from a fishing trip to Canada, called on Mr. and Mrs. Herman Dux Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. Martha Grap visited Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoma Sunday afternoon and was their supper guest.

Mrs. Ervin Clark of Eau Claire and her father, Edwin Klueckmann of Memorial Home in Neillsville, called on Mr. and Mrs. Harold Mitte Saturday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Hans Kalsow visited Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock and Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow in Neillsville Sunday. They were supper guests at the Kalsow home.

Bob Foss of Northbrook, Ill., a nephew of Mr. and Mrs. William Schultz, visited from Wednesday to Monday at the Schultz home. While there he helped a few days with haying.
