Greenwood (15 July 1971)

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Flikke of Minneapolis spent Sunday and Monday at the Hugh Christie home. He attended his 1936 class reunion Sunday evening.

Mr. and Mrs. James Luther and son, Joel, of La Crosse spent Monday with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. William Kuester.

Gilbert Dill of Cedarburg is spending several weeks at the home of his mother, Mrs. Lydia Dill.

Mrs. Frances Marg has returned to Eau Claire after a few days’ visit with her mother, Mrs. Mary Barr, and other relatives.

Guests Friday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Christie were Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Vine and family of Racine.

Mrs. Dan Simonson of West Allis spent the weekend at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Meinholdt. She left Sunday to join her husband in Lawson, Okla., where they will reside. Pvt. Simonson is stationed at Fort Sill.

Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jensen of Owen were dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Vollrath.

A family get-together was held recently at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Learman. Guests from away included Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ziegler, Gary, Jr., Curt and Bart, of Milwaukee, James Ziegler of Neillsville, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Liebzeit, Elizabeth, Jeff and Becky of Plover, Miss Sandy Liebzeit of Green Bay, and Miss Barbara Liebzeit of Stevens Point. Those from Greenwood were Miss Karlene Learman, Donald Horn, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. James Learman and Jimmy, Mrs. Clara Liebzeit, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Liebzeit, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Liebzeit and Galen, Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Liebzeit, Blaine, LaVonne, and her friend, Sheila, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Liebzeit and Debbie, Mr and Mrs. Roger Liebzeit, Heidi, Gretchen and Peter and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Standiford and Scott.
