Lamovec, Ann E. (7 APR 1920 - 11 DEC 2013)
Ann Evelyn Lamovec (Koschak), age 93, of Eau Claire formerly of Willard, WI,
died peacefully Wednesday, December 11, 2013, at her home.
Ann was born
April 7, 1920, to Louis and Jennie (Push) Koschak in Willard. She graduated from
Greenwood High School in 1938, and married Henry Lamovec in 1942, at Holy Family
Catholic Church. Henry and Ann purchased the family dairy farm where they raised
their four children. They retired to Eau Claire in 1978. Ann was very active at
Holy Family, serving for years as church organist, choir director, and teaching
Catechism (CCD). She was also active in the CCW and KSKJ societies. When Ann
retired she received special recognition from the parish for her services. Ann
lived for her church and her family.
Survivors include her daughter,
Phyllis (James) Anderson; sons: Allan (Kay), Henry Jr (Jane) and Ray (Catherine)
Lamovec; grandchildren, Tom Anderson, Dan (Joanna) Anderson, Patricia Heil,
Robert Lamovec, Molly Lamovec, Vincent Lamovec, Kurt Spindler and Christine
Denton; great grandchildren: Sabrina, Mikaila, Maddie, Isaac, Sam, Archie,
Alice, Zoe, and Madison.
Ann was the youngest and last surviving member
of a generation of the Koschak and Lamovec families, all of Slovenian
nationality. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, in 2008; her
parents; brothers: Louis, Stanley, Ludwig, Ignatz, and Frank Koschak; sisters:
Jennie Krapf, Christine Belensky, Angela Knutel, and Mary Lesar.
The
family wishes to thank Sue, Sheri, June, Jean, and Cory for their love,
friendship and care of mom.
Memorial Service pending, will be held in
January at Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, WI
