Noah, Annie K. (10 Nov 1913 –
4 JUN 1952)
Annie Katherine Saule, daughter of Mrs. Paul Saule and the
late Paul Saule, was born Nov. 10, 1913 at Chicago Heights, Ill. And came to
Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.) in 1918. She has been a resident of Clark County for
the past 34 years.
On June 12, 1933 she was united in marriage to Arthur
Noah at Greenwood. To this union were born nine children, Dorothy, Mary Jane,
Sandra, Ronald, James, Richard, Allen and Arthur at home. One son, Donald,
passed away in 1944 at the age of 4 years.
Mrs. Noah passed away at St.
Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield, on Wednesday, June 4, 1952 following several
months of illness.
Funeral services were held on Sunday, June 8 at 2:00
p.m. from the West Side Evangelical and Reformed Church, with Rev. Charles Koch
officiating. She was laid to rest in the West Side Cemetery.
During the
services the Junior Choir sang ”Jesus is Tenderly Calling Me Home” and “Mansions
Above,” accompanied by Mrs. Elmer Meinhardt at the organ.
She is survived
by her husband and above named children, her mother and two brothers, Peter and
Tony Saule of Greenwood.
He pallbearers were Art Kolstad, John Digoski,
John Dubinski, Stanley Pekol, Andrew Cohara and John Jelercic.
