visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Viv Carteron over Memorial Day.
Mr.
and Mrs. Archie Daggett and family of Omro spent Memorial Day and the weekend
with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Drake.
Karen Krueger, Medford, has
been a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Strobach. She is Mrs. Strobach's
sister.
Guests at the F.J. Strobach home Memorial Day were Miss Norene
Krueger, sister of Mrs. Strobach, and Chester Strobach, brother of Mr. Strobach.
Merrill Hare attended a conservation meeting at Madison Tuesday and
Wednesday. He was a delegate from the Clark County Conservation League.
Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Ellingson and son Romain attended a family get-together of
Mrs. Ellingson's family at Strum last Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Everett
Ellingson and baby of Mauston spent from Thursday until Sunday with his parents,
Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Ellingson.
Mr. and Mrs. Val Krainz, Junior, Donna and
Robert and Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger were La Crosse visitors Memorial Day.
George Kern Jr., son Roger, daughter Mrs. Lorraine Markee and daughter Janet
Markee of Marshfield spent Memorial Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Kern

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Paprocki and daughter Linda of Milwaukee spent
Memroial Day and the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Brzezinski.
Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Koenig, Milwaukee, spent from Thursday until Sunday at
the home of her mother, Mrs. Pearl Syth, and at the Carl Stabnow home.
Word received here from Mr. and Mrs. Robert Speich states that they are now
living at 704 St. Louis St., Hillsboro, Ill. They arrived there about two weeks
ago and like it very much.
Among those who visited Mrs. John Hawley over
Memorial Day were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hannah, Mineral Point; Mr. and Mrs. Niles
Weisberger, Donna and Bill, Waupun, and Mrs. Della Hawley and son Wilbur,
Neillsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plecity, who spent the winter at
Bakersfield, Calif., visited Tuesday with Mrs. Albert Shanks enroute to Bemidji,
Minn., where they plan to spend the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Laabs and
son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Loper of Milwaukee are spending a
week's vacation with friends and relatives at Stanley, Cornell and Hayward.
Miss Ida Wehrman, Henry, Leo and Arno Wehrman, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Tatakoich
and daughter Susan of Milwaukee, and Miss Jane Rupert of Baraboo visited at the
Albert Wehrman home at Loyal and at the Steve Checky and Volk homes over
Memorial day.

Wm. Toburen had the misfortune to break his
left kneecap Saturday evening when he fell from a ladder.

The W.S.C.S. is sponsoring a food sale
and lunch at the Methodist Church basement Friday afternoon, June 6th. Everyone
is welcome.

A.H. Williamson of St. Paul spent from Thursday until Saturday at the John
Arends home and visited other relatives.

wedding anniversary of a cousin at St. Nazianz on Sunday.
Mrs. John Zuege
of Athens visited on Thursday and Friday at the John Snedic home, and with her
mother at Willard. Mrs. Zuege will be remembered here as Angeline Snedic.
Mrs. P.J. Seliskar and son Billy returned Thursday after spending a week in
Merrill with her father, Mrs. Pahl.

Memorial Day at the E.S. Ellingson home.
