Mrs. Tony Schullo of St. Paul visited her brother Art Christie and family Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Rifleman of Rhinelander called on friends here Memorial Day.

The Misses Lorraine Carteron, Oconomowoc, and Beverly Carteron, Waukesha, visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Viv Carteron over Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Archie Daggett and family of Omro spent Memorial Day and the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Drake.

Karen Krueger, Medford, has been a guest at the home of Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Strobach. She is Mrs. Strobach's sister.

Guests at the F.J. Strobach home Memorial Day were Miss Norene Krueger, sister of Mrs. Strobach, and Chester Strobach, brother of Mr. Strobach.

Merrill Hare attended a conservation meeting at Madison Tuesday and Wednesday. He was a delegate from the Clark County Conservation League.

Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Ellingson and son Romain attended a family get-together of Mrs. Ellingson's family at Strum last Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Everett Ellingson and baby of Mauston spent from Thursday until Sunday with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Ellingson.

Mr. and Mrs. Val Krainz, Junior, Donna and Robert and Mr. and Mrs. John Kaltinger were La Crosse visitors Memorial Day.

George Kern Jr., son Roger, daughter Mrs. Lorraine Markee and daughter Janet Markee of Marshfield spent Memorial Day at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Kern Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Paprocki and daughter Linda of Milwaukee spent Memroial Day and the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. William Brzezinski.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Koenig, Milwaukee, spent from Thursday until Sunday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Pearl Syth, and at the Carl Stabnow home.

Word received here from Mr. and Mrs. Robert Speich states that they are now living at 704 St. Louis St., Hillsboro, Ill. They arrived there about two weeks ago and like it very much.

Among those who visited Mrs. John Hawley over Memorial Day were Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Hannah, Mineral Point; Mr. and Mrs. Niles Weisberger, Donna and Bill, Waupun, and Mrs. Della Hawley and son Wilbur, Neillsville.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Plecity, who spent the winter at Bakersfield, Calif., visited Tuesday with Mrs. Albert Shanks enroute to Bemidji, Minn., where they plan to spend the summer.

Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Laabs and son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Loper of Milwaukee are spending a week's vacation with friends and relatives at Stanley, Cornell and Hayward.

Miss Ida Wehrman, Henry, Leo and Arno Wehrman, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Tatakoich and daughter Susan of Milwaukee, and Miss Jane Rupert of Baraboo visited at the Albert Wehrman home at Loyal and at the Steve Checky and Volk homes over Memorial day.

Mary Syth spent two days with her sister, Mrs. Earl Caliebe.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wood of Chicago visited friends here Memorial Day.

Dr. and Mrs. A.J. Currie of Elcho called on friends here Memorial Day.

Mrs. Joe Rubensky of St. Paul spent Memorial Day with her brother James McConnell and family.

Wm. Toburen had the misfortune to break his left kneecap Saturday evening when he fell from a ladder.

Mr. and Mrs. John Rauman, Wausau, were guests at the F.J. Strobach home Friday afternoon and evening.

Mr. and Mrs. E.S. Ellingson and Romain visited relatives at Strum and Mondovi on Wednesday of last week.

Mrs. Caroline Horn and Donald Carlson of Harvard, Ill. called Friday at the Volk home.

Mrs. Frank Bagele, Racine, and Mr. and Mrs. Otto Goehring, Loyal, visited relatives and friends here Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Austin Mlada and baby of Hales Corners visited at the E. Mlada and Mrs. Maud Huntzicker homes over the weekend.

Mrs. May Little and three sons of Eau Claire spent Memorial Day with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Martin Afkend.

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Omundson of Milwaukee spent the weekend at the Donald Dixon home. Mrs. Omundson and Mrs. Dixon are sisters.

Guests at the Louie Vogel home Memorial Day were Dr. and Mrs. Alice Pacholke, Minneapolis, Minn.; Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Cammers, Colby, and Cullen Cammers of Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Johnson of Mosinee called on friends here Memorial Day.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilson Jacobson of Blanchardville visited Miss Melva Afkend on Memorial Day enroute to Stanley to visit relatives.

Mrs. Chas. Grabler of Cudahy spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Caliebe.

Miss Grace Caliebe left Wednesday for Milwaukee where she will visit friends.

Jessie Thwing of Redwood Falls, Minn. and Miss Elsie Thwing of Washington, D.C. visited their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Thwing last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Johnson and family of Malta, Ill. visited his parents Mr. and Mrs. Henry Johnson and other relatives over Memorial Day.

The W.S.C.S. is sponsoring a food sale and lunch at the Methodist Church basement Friday afternoon, June 6th. Everyone is welcome.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Newton of Glendive, Mont. and Mr. and Mrs. A.H. Williamson of St. Paul spent from Thursday until Saturday at the John Arends home and visited other relatives.

Mrs. Violet Serosk, sons Dennis and Randy, returned to Chicago a week ago Sunday after spending a week with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Kern Sr.

Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Meyer and children of Cameron and Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Meyer of Rolla, Mo. Spent from Thursday until Sunday with their mother, Mrs. Adolph Meyer and other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. Harold Jackson of Lewiston, Minn. spent Memorial Day and Saturday with this mother, Mrs. Celia Jackson.

Mr. and Mrs. Merrill Boon of Elgin, Ill. and Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Zickert of Neillsville visited at the Carl Stabnow and Mrs. Pearl Syth home Saturday.

Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Severson and Carol, Mrs. Christ Keiner and Louis visited Tuesday at the Carl Keiner home at Eau Claire.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lindner, Loyal; Mrs. Glen Stewart, Marshfield and the Misses Joana nd Tessie Lindner attended the 10th wedding anniversary of a cousin at St. Nazianz on Sunday.

Mrs. John Zuege of Athens visited on Thursday and Friday at the John Snedic home, and with her mother at Willard. Mrs. Zuege will be remembered here as Angeline Snedic.

Mrs. P.J. Seliskar and son Billy returned Thursday after spending a week in Merrill with her father, Mrs. Pahl.

Mrs. Mina Waldie of Eau Claire spent Memorial Day at the E.S. Ellingson home.

Mrs. Frances Forseth, Minneapolis, and Mrs. Chas. Mourer of Milwaukee called at the John Arends home Saturday afternoon and visited other friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Teddy Williams, Milwaukee spent Memorial Day with their aunts, the Misses Florence and Allie Williams.

Mrs. Ben Dallman, Larry Dallman and Everett Metcalf attended the graduation exercises at River Falls on Sunday.

Delano Lien, Edina, Minn. and Everett Metcalf, Prairie Farm, are spending the week at the James Metcalf home.

Mr. and Mrs. Emory Voie and family of Fond du Lac spent the Memorial Day weekend at the Otto Voie home and with other relatives.

Mr. and Mrs. O.J. Amundson returned Monday from a week's visit with their son Gordon Amundson and family at Emerald, and with relatives at Deer Park, Wis.

Mr. and Mrs. Mathew Nowosel of Wilmette, Ill. and Miss Mary Smaldone of Oak Park, Ill. spent Memorial Day and the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frank Smaldone.
