Funeral services for Mrs. Lawrence Emerson, 91, of Wisconsin Rapids, who died April 4, were held Friday morning at Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church in Wisconsin Rapids, the Rev. Eugene Berthaiume officiated and burial was made in Calvary cemetery..

The former Kathryn Christman was born at Hewitt on March 14, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Balthasar Christman. She moved to Loyal as a girl with her parents and lived there until moving to Wisconsin Rapids in 1923.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1933, four children, John, Andrew, Carolyn and Peter, and by her brothers and sisters, Mrs. Barbara Esselman, Mrs. Elisabeth Kilbourn, Mrs. Anna Scott, Mrs. Caroline Andraska, and John, Peter, Tony and Joseph Christman. Two grandchildren survive.
