Macksam, Adeline, (05 Mar 1903 – 04 Apr 1967)
Mrs.
Ervin C. Macksam (Adeline Rottjer) passed away at the Lutheran Hospital at
Beaver Dam on Tuesday, April 4, following a lingering illness.
Services
were held at the First Ev. Lutheran Church Fridayafternoon, August 7, at 2 p.m.,
with the Rev. John Mason officiating. Burial was made in the Oakwood Cemetery.
Mrs. Macksam was born March 5, 1903 at Elkton, Minnesota, the daughter of
Mr. and Mrs. John Rottjar. She moved with her family to Loyal in 1919. She
married Ervin Macksam on August 31, 1926 at Loyal. The family moved to Beaver
Dam in 1933.
She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Marvin (Elaine)
Winter and Mrs. John (Jean) Baumann, Beaver Dam and Mrs. Jake (Karen) Martine,
Waupun; one brother, Henry Rottjar and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma Rottjar of
Loyal; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
her husband in 1956; one brother and two sisters.
She was a member of the
First Ev. Lutheran Church.
