Lindner, John (12
July 1886 – 01 May 1967)
John A. Lindner, 80, Loyal, died at St. Joseph’s
Hospital Monday, May 1, at 4:30 p.m. Mr. Lindner had been a patient there for
the past month.
Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal
with the Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer officiating. Burial will be made in the Loyal
cemetery. The services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday.
The Myre
Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Lindner was born July
12, 1886, in the town of Loyal, Clark County. His marriage to Clara Schaeffner
took place October 7, 1914 at Loyal. They farmed in the town of Loyal until
retiring in 1960, when they moved to the city of Loyal. They celebrated their
golden wedding anniversary in 1964.
He was a member of Trinity Lutheran
Church.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Mrs.
Everett (Dorothy) Helms, and Mrs. Erwin (Ruth) Noeldner, a son, Wilbur, all of
Loyal; a brother August, Madison; nine grandchildren and five
great-grandchildren.
Four sisters and three brothers preceded him in
death.
