On Wednesday, June 11th, 1952 at 5:00 p.m. before the altar of St. John's Lutheran Church at Withee, Wis., the ceremony which united in marriage Miss Mary Frances Riechling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank N. Riechling, Darlington, Wis., and Mr. Robert Louis Carl, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Carl, Greenwood, Wis., took place. Rev. Walter Schedler performed the double ring ceremony.

The bride was attired in a forest green tailored suit and wore white accessories. She carried a white Bible, a gift from the groom. The white corsage she wore was made up of white gladioli and lilies of the valley.

Miss Florence Carl of of Neillsville, cousin of the groom, was the bride's only attendant. Her Kelly green suit was set off with tan accessories and her corsage was a peach colored gladioli and lilies of the valley.

The groom wore a tan suit and DuWayne Carl of Greenwood, brother of the groom, acted as best man, and also wore a tan suit.

Following the ceremony a dinner was served at the Miru Steakhouse for the immediate wedding party.

The bride is a graduate of Darlington High School and the Stout Institute, Menomonie, Wis., and is a member of the Greenwood High School faculty. The groom is a graduate of the Greenwood High School , served 3 years in the U.S. Army and is now employed by the City of Greenwood.

After a week's honeymoon in northern Wisconsin and other points throughout the state, the couple will make their home in Greenwood.

The high school faculty members with their wives and husband honored the couple with a pre-nuptial shower.
