Irmgard Erieka
Helena Winger, age 87, of Perkinstown, passed on to meet her Lord Tuesday,
October 9, 2012 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital.
Irmgard was born March
29, 1925 in Wollenthin, Germany, the daughter of the late Max & Maria (Mielke)
Polzin.
She was united in marriage to Logan Winger in Wiesbaden, Germany
with the couple moving to
the states to raise a family.
Irmgard
retired from Advance Transformer Co. in Monroe, WI. She enjoyed fishing, being
outside in her garden, sewing and bowling.
Irmgard is survived by her
husband Logan of Perkinstown, one son, Elton (Diana Lynn) Winger of Gilman, four
grandchildren, Jody, Jeanna, Amy & Christopher, five great-grandchildren,
Justin, Cody, Jorie, Katheryn, & Elizabeth, many nieces and nephews, some in
Germany, and brother-in-laws, Fred (Carolyn) Winger & Ronald (Laura) Winger. She
was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, two sisters, and
sister-in-law, Esther Hart.
Services will be held on Friday, October 12,
2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gilman Funeral Home. Friends and family may call from
1-2 p.m. prior to service time at the funeral home on Friday. Burial will take
place in the Perkinstown Cemetery.
