Francis, Lorraine M. (20 MAY 1926 - 20 DEC 2013)

Lorraine M. Francis, 87 of Marshfield died on Friday, December 20, 2013 at Ministry St. Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield.

Funeral services will be 11am Thursday, December 26, 2013 at Rembs Funeral Home in Marshfield with Pastor Mike Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Neillsville City Cemetery with grandsons as pallbearers.

Visitations will be from 10am until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.

Lorraine was born on May 20, 1926 in Merrillan to Glen and Eva (Habrel) Lezotte. She graduated from Merrillan High School then married Harold L. Francis on December 9, 1943 in Black River Falls. Harold died on February 14, 2012.

She lived in Loyal where her husband operated a barber shop for over 52 years. She moved to Marshfield and enjoyed her grand and great grandchildren.

Lorraine is survived by her children Jacqueline (David) Slaby and Paula (David) Schumacher both of Marshfield, Patricia (Danny) Slaby of Landers, CA; 10 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She is further survived by her brother Glen (Shirley) Lezotte, Jr. of Stoughton.

Besides her parents and husband Harold, she was preceded in death by twin infant daughters Jacqueline and Peggy.
