Humbird (22 July 1971)
Carl Greub of Neillsville and
Mr. and Mrs. John Greub came home from a trip to Rockford and Davis, Ill.,
Madison and Monroe, where they visited relatives and friends from Sunday until
Friday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Harold Plowman of Wisconsin Rapids spent
Sunday at the Raymond Stuve home.
Mr. and Mrs. Levi Fitzmaurice were
dinner guests Sunday at the Ed Holub home in rural Neillsville.
Connie
Douzulus of Glen Park, Ind., was a guest at the Cullen Dignin home Saturday.
Mrs. Betty Harper and three children of Cincinnati, O., are visiting at the
Sam Fitzmaurice home and with other relatives and friends here.
Mrs.
Raymond Stuve and Mrs. Irene Phillips were in Eau Claire Monday.
Mrs.
Helen Fitzmaurice, accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. Sam Fitzmaurice and Mr. and Mrs.
Levi Fitzmaurice, drove to La Crosse Monday to attend the funeral of Roy Pierce,
71, who lived here as a boy.
Mr. and Mrs. Walter Rink of Watertown spent
Wednesday afternoon with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ted Polege.
Mr. and
Mrs. Roy Johnson and family and Art Christen attended a Christen family reunion
Sunday at Richland Center. The weather there: a beautiful sunshiny day.
Mr. and Mrs. Brian West, Lori and Pam, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Hagenbarth and
Linda, of La Crosse, and Ann Dimmick, of Black River Falls spent Friday at the
Elmer Duerkop home.
The Avon Homemaker club was part of the group who
met for a picnic in the park Sunday. The 4-H club of this area also was there
for a picnic dinner and a program.
Supper guests Thursday of Mr. and Mrs.
Elmer Duerkop were Peggy Zumbraski of Milwaukee and Mary Margaret McLure of Sun
Prairie.
Mr. and Mrs. Jim Duerkop and Krista Lynn of Stevens Point
visited Sunday at the Elmer Duerkop home.
Mrs. Elmer Duerkop drove to
Osseo Monday to have supper with her mother, Mrs. Ida Holman.
