Aspen, Mr. and Mrs. Ole (Golden - 16 July 1971)
Mr. and Mrs. Ole Aspen,
Neillsville, who were married July 16, 1921 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran
parsonage by the Rev. Brandt, observed their Golden wedding anniversary Saturday
evening with a dinner at the United Church of Christ and a family gathering
later at the Aspen home.
Present for the occasion were the couple’s son
and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Aspen and family of Mt. Prospect, Il.,
and their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Milford (Patricia) Tesmer and
family of Neillsville.
Other close family members attending the
observance were his sister, Mrs. William Lindemann and son, Gary, of Buffalo, N.
Y., and her sister and brother, Georgeana and William Schulz, of Columbia. Mr.
Aspen’s older sister, Mrs. David Martin of Chicago, Il., and two brothers-in-law
in California were unable to be present.
Additional guests included Mr.
and Mrs. Warren Frank of West Bend, Mrs. John Gahl and Mrs. Laura Sandman, both
of Rockford, Il., Mr. and Mrs. Donald Penny of Genoa, Il., Mr. and Mrs. Herman
Tesmer, their daughter’s mother and father-in-law, and others from Neillsville.
