Matt Heintz, 62, a resident of this area for many years, died
at 1:30 p.m. Monday, June 30, 1952 at the Lawrence Firnstahl farm. Death was
attributed to a heart ailment.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.
Thursday at the Myre Funeral Home, Loyal. The Rev. E. Aalto officiated and
burial was in the Loyal Cemetery.
Mr. Heintz was born March 11, 1890 in
Dodge County and came to Loyal with his parents at an early age. His marriage to
the former Millie Junk took place in May 1913 in Loyal.
For several years
before his marriage he had worked on farms and a short time before he was
married he purchased a farm near Greenwood (Clark Co., Wis.). Five years ago he
sold his farm and for the past four months had resided on the Lawrence Firnstahl
farm.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Herbert, Loyal; and Cpl.
Melvin Heintz, Hammond, Ind.; four(??) daughters, Mrs. Lincoln (Adeline)
Schoolmann, Spencer; Mrs. Donald (Laura) Lyman, Chicago; Mrs. Robert (Marceline)
Hughes, Madison; 13 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Anna Morris, Neillsville
and Mrs. Carrie Marks, New York City, N.Y.
