Dusso, Donald L. (28 September
1914 - 24 July 1971)
Donald L. Dusso, 56, of Fond du Lac, a former
Greenwood resident, died unexpectedly of heart attack July 24, at St. Agnes
Hospital in Fond du Lac.
Mr. Dusso, son of Lexton and Esther (Jollivette)
Dusso was born September 28, 1914, in La Crosse. He received his education in
Greenwood schools and was married in Greenwood November 7, 1934, to Doris
Hendrickson. He served in the navy in World War II. They lived in greenwood
until 1951, and lived in Waupun, Fox Lake and Rosendale until February of this
year, when they moved to Fond du Lac. He presently was supervisor of the Green
Giant Canning Company in Rosendale. He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in
Rosendale and the Lions Club there.
Survivors are his wife; three
daughters, Mrs. James (Margie) Hesselman of Cudahy, Mrs. James (Donna) Rockwell
of Rochester, N. Y., and Mrs. Michael (Janis) Querner of Lubbock, Tex.; six
sons, Kenneth of Omro, Bernard of Beaver Dam, Jerry of Whitefish Bay, Richard of
Whitewater, and Roger and Donald at home; 15 grandchildren; also two brothers,
Ralph Dusso of Appleton and Lorris Dusso of Madison; and his parents, Mr. and
Mrs. Lexton Dusso, of Greenwood.
Funeral services were held at 10 a.m.
Tuesday, July 27, from the Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. Burial was made
in the Greenwood Cemetery.
