Greenwood (5 August 1971)
Dr. and Mrs. Gary Rohde and
sons, Dean and Douglas, of River Falls spent Wednesday and Thursday at the home
of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Stewart.
Miss Judith Brux of Stevens
Point visited her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harlan Brux, last weekend.
Mr.
and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze returned Sunday after spending a week with their
children, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Krapf, Jr., and family in Milwaukee and Mr. and
Mrs. Donald Schwarze in Madison.
Mrs. john Zepaltas, Sr., and Mrs. Harlan
Brux and their children went to Minocqua and visited Aqualand and other places
of interest on Thursday.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Uglum and daughters, Laurie,
Rhonda, Wendy and Tracy, visited Tuesday and Wednesday at the home of her
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Erickson.
Guests Friday and Saturday at
the home of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Voie were Mr. and Mrs. Jonas Bestul of Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Vernard Swieso and family arrived Sunday evening from Denver,
Colo., called by the illness of her mother, Mrs. Elsie Lueck, who is a patient
at Memorial hospital in Neillsville. They also will visit at the home of his
mother, Mrs. Effie Swieso.
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Friske and daughter, Faye,
of Whitehall spent Sunday at the home of her mother, Mrs. Adelbert Wells.
Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Speich and family of Rockford, Ill., were called here by
the illness of her father, Otto Kind, Sr., who has been a patient at Memorial
Hospital in Neillsville since July 22. They also spent several days with their
mothers, Mrs. Otto Kind, Sr., and Mrs. Jake Speich, and other relatives.
Weekend gusts at the home of Mrs. Alice Speich were her cousin, Mrs. Beulah
Rouse and daughter, Erlene of Sparta.
Mrs. Helen Behrens is visiting in
Eau Claire with her granddaughter, Mrs. William Jaeger and family.
Mr.
and Mrs. James Turnquist, Lisa and Arthur, are spending several days at the
Victor Wallin home at Grand View.
Mrs. Mildred Montgomery of Rockford,
Ill., is spending some time at the home of her cousin, Mrs. Adelbert Wells, and
family.
