Backus, Air Force Sgt. William W. (Military notes - 1971)
Air Force Sgt.
William W. Backus, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter F. Backus of Willard, has arrived
for duty at ENT AFB, Colo. Sgt. Backus, a weather observer, is in a unit of the
air weather service which provides weather information for military flight
operations. He previously served at Travis AFB, Wis. The sergeant is a 1965
graduate of Greenwood high School. His wife, Karen, is the daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Neland Will of Rt. 2, Colby.
