Fabian, Ella (19 Dec 1891 – 12 May 1967)
Funeral services were held for
Mrs. Ella Fabian, 75, Loyal on Friday, May 12, at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Loyal. Burial was made in the Lutheran Cemetery. Mrs. Fabian died at 8”30 p.m.
Tuesday, May 9 of a heart attack at her home.
The Myre Funeral Home was
in charge of the arrangements.
The Rev. A. M. Moldenhauer officiated at
the 2 p.m. service.
The former Ella Ehlers was born December 19, 1891, at
Watertown. As a young girl she moved to a farm in the town of Eaton. After her
marriage to Clarence Fabian on December 20, 1911, at Trinity Lutheran Church,
Loyal, the couple moved to Elkhorn. They later returned to Clark County and
bought a farm in the town of Loyal where she lived until the time of her death.
Pallbearers were Art Hoffman, Walter Hoffman, Henry Trampbush, John Olsen,
Sr., Ferdinand Gotter, and Ervin Noeldner.
Mrs. John A. Olsen was the
organist and the congregation sang “Abide With Me,” and Nearer My God To Thee.”
Mrs. Fabian was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.
Her husband died
November of 1950.
She is survived by three daughters, Miss Minnie Fabian,
Madison; Mrs. James (Helen) Blyth, Round Lake, Illinois; and Miss Elsie Fabian,
Loyal; one son, Herman, Loyal; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Pieper, Loyal; and Mrs.
Martha Fabian, Greenwood; one brother Alvin Ehlers, Greenwood.
She was
preceded in death by one brother and sister; two sons and one daughter.
