Hardrath, Marjorie Ruth (Reitan) (9 MAY 1922

Marjorie Ruth Reitan Hardrath, age 91, of Roswell, Ga.,
died on Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, at her home following a lengthy illness.
Marjorie was born on May 9, 1922, in Marshfield, daughter of John and Idele
(Borgia) Reitan. She was a graduate of Marshfield High School, and then attended
the University of Wisconsin at Stevens Point receiving a bachelor’s degree in
elementary education. On May 5, 1950, she married Halbert H. (Bud) Hardrath in
Madison. She was a lifelong teacher.
Survivors include her husband,
Halbert Hardrath, Roswell, Ga.; a daughter and son-in-law, Sue Hardrath and Sam
Troutman, Atlanta, Ga.; son-in-law, Wayne Kramer, Knoxville, Tenn.; two
grandsons, Russell Reitan Kramer, Cleveland, Ohio, and John Reed Kramer,
Clemson, S.C.; one sister-in-law, Dorthaleen Hardrath, Owen; one brother-in-law,
Howard Hardrath, Atlanta, Ga.; and several nieces and nephews.
Marjorie
was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Betty Lou Stamper; her
brother, Jack Reitan; and a daughter, Sarah Jane Hardrath Kramer.
A
family graveside service will be planned for a later date at Beaver Cemetery.
