Koenig, Richard "Rich" W. (17 MAY 1960 - 19 DEC 2013)

Richard "Rich" W. Koenig, 53, Green Bay, died on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Born on May 17, 1960 in Los Angeles, Calif., he is the son of the late Richard and Ruth (Knorn) Koenig. Rich graduated from Bell High School in Bell, Calif.

On November 6, 1982, he married the former Lisa Woller in Merrill, and they divorced in August 1999. Rich proudly served in the Army National Guard. He worked as a truck driver for much of his professional life. Rich was a passionate Dodgers fan, and enjoyed listening to Pink Floyd. He also took interest in fishing, surfing, collecting music, classic cars and reading paranormal books.

Rich is survived by two children, Noah (Jenny) Koenig of Oak Creek and Mitchell (fiancée Josephine Li) Koenig of Chaska, Minn.; one sister and brother-in-law, Deb (Jim) Judnic of Medford; one brother and sister-in-law, Tim (Darla) Koenig of Merrill; two nieces, Holly Rowan and Asonja Koenig; and three nephews, Jason Judnic, Jeremy Judnic and Nicholas Koenig.
He was preceded in death by his parents.

Private memorial services took place at Malcore Funeral Home and Crematory in Green Bay.
In lieu of other expressions of sympathy, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home.
