East
Washburn (22 Jun 1916)
The dance Saturday night in Galbreath’s barn was
given in honor of Frank Furgeson and wife of South Dakota. Everyone enjoyed a
good time.
Mrs. Fentz had a record-breaking crowd at the Aid dinner
Thursday when she entertained one hundred people. $12.75 was added to our
treasury.
Kauth and Hohenstein have just finished painting the interior
of our church, which makes a great improvement.
Mrs. Geo. Cramer
entertained the Larson and Kauth families at dinner Sunday.
The new baby
girl at Jim Short’s is getting along nicely now.
Mr. and Mrs. Griffin
spent Sunday with the Furgeson family.
Miss Lamp visited in the Galbreath
home last week, returning to her home in City Point Sunday.
Miss Encie
Carter has greatly improved in health. She visited at Cramer’s Sunday.
