Aug. and John Dudei and wife and son, Arnold, were at York Sunday to visit Carl Radke and wife.

Albert Klueckman, wife and daughter, Laura, spent Sunday at Ferdinand Grap’s.

Arthur Thoma and John Poppe were business callers down at Hungry Hollow Road.

The marriage of Lena Manthey and Mike Gall took place here at the German Lutheran Church last Thursday, June 29. Rev. Brandt performed the ceremony. Our heartiest congratulations extended.

A little daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. G.E. Grap June 23rd, but only lived three hours, when a gentle voice called her to the better home and she is now resting safely in the arms of Jesus. A Friend.

Linus Prock and family and Marcella Neis autoed to Greenwood Friday evening to call on the former’s parents, J. Quast and wife. Mrs. Prock’s sister and husband, Mr. and Mrs. O. Fuller, and baby returned home with them for a few days visit.

Theodore Schlinkert spent Sunday here with his brother, Bob.

Mrs. Prock and daughter, Katie, and Mrs. H. Neis of Neillsville, and Nick Linster spent Sunday at Ed. Prock’s.

The new Lutheran parsonage is now going up. Otto Roessler of Neillsville is busy with the carpenter work.

Mesdames Paul Klauer, Edwin Klueckman and Robt. Schlinkert were callers on Mrs. Gus. Grap Sunday.

The lectures of Pat Malone last Monday and Tuesday evening at Ed. Klueckman’s were well attended.
