Hoolie Happigan has been
too busy the past few weeks to write items.
Roy Lawrence and family were
callers at the A.P. Fulwiler home on Friday evening.
Ruth and Harry
Hinman of Glenwood returned to their home Thursday after a two weeks’ visit here
with relatives.
Wm. Vande Berg was laid up for a few days with blood
poisoning in his leg, caused from a boil.
A good share of our population
has been visiting the blueberry patch the past week or more. Berries are
plentiful this season.
W.E. Benedict and family autoed over to Marshfield
last Sunday and spent the day with Jerry Davis and family.
Rev. Braddock
of Colby occupied the pulpit here last Sunday afternoon, exchanging pulpits for
the day with Rev. Powell.
E.M. Rowe and family of Neillsville, Mr.
Dodsworth and family of Fairchild passed through our burg by auto last Sunday.
W.W. Warner and wife and Miss Delight Mills of Loyal were here Sunday
afternoon.
Mrs. F.D. Rowe spent Monday with her brother, C.H. Campbell.
George Mortimer autoed to Marshfield Thursday with his cousins, Ruth and
Harry Hinman, who took the train there that day for their home at Glenwood.
