Schultz, Valerie Jean (16 December 1956 - 23 December 2013)
Valerie Jean Schultz, nee Vincent, 57, died Dec. 23, 2013, in Journey Care
Hospice, Barrington, IL. She was born Dec. 16, 1956, in Milwaukee. She was a
1975 graduate of Neillsville High School and a 1979 graduate of Dr. Martin
Luther College in New Ulm, Mn. Valerie was a caring teacher at martin Luther
School, Neenah, Palatine Park District Preschool and director of the Preschool
at Christ the King Lutheran Church.
Valerie was the beloved wife of Rev.
Thomas J. Schultz; a loving mother of Abigail Clara-Marie, Jordan Thomas and
Eden Mary-Magdelana; devoted daughter of Florence and the late Jimmy Vincent;
close sister of Pamela (Tim) Yaeger; dear daughter-in-law of Theckla and John
Schultz; fond sister-in-law of Nathan (Shelly), Deborah (Jon), Theckla (Kevin),
Naomi (Nate) and Ann Marie (Adam); aunt to many nieces and nephews; and
co-worker of Jody, Belinda, Barb and Julie.
Funeral services for Valerie
were held at 1 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 28, at Christ the King Lutheran Church, 100
W. Michigan Ave., Palatine, IL 60047 (847-358-0230, or www.byfaithalone.org).
Visitation was held Friday from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m.
until the time of services at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials
should be made to the Christ the King Preschool, Palatine.
