Stiemke, Roselyn (12 AUG
1952)
Miss Roselyn Stiemke, daughter of (a line was missing), became the
bride of Felix Kotcon, all of Neillsville, during a nuptial ceremony performed
there Tuesday morning, Aug. 12th, in St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. M.J.
Kohnhofer was the officiating clergyman.
The bride was attired in a gown
of white nylon net over taffeta, with a Bertha collar edged in lace. A beaded
crown hel her fingertip veil and she carried an arranagement of flowers.
Miss Helen Kotcon, Chicago, a sister of the groom, was maid of honor, and Mrs.
Melford Vandeberg, Loyal, sister of the bride, was bridesmaid.
Their aqua
and yellow nylon net over taffeta formals were styled like the bridal gown. Each
carried a bouquet of yellow roses and white gladioli.
Attending the groom
were Victor Kotcon, Willard, as best man, and Melford Vandeberg, Loyal, the
bride's brother-in-law, as groomsman.
A wedding dinner was served in the
Merchants Hotel for the immediate families and relatives. A dance was held in
the evening in the American Legion Hall.
Before her marriage the bride
was employed in the First National Bank, Neillsville. Her husband operates a
farm.
