Reichenbach, Kathleen M. (27 July 1936 - 5 October 2010)

Kathleen M. Reichenbach, 74, of rural Merrillan (Wrightsville), died Tuesday morning, Oct. 5, 2010, at the home of her sister, Joanne Michalak, under the care of her sisters, Joanne and Maryann Michalak, with the help of Black River Memorial Hospice.

Kathleen M. Reinart was born July 27, 1936, in Clark County to Martin and Gladys (Hohenstein) Reinart. She was raised in Clark County and had been a lifelong resident of Clark and Jackson Counties. She married Clayton Reichenbach Dec. 10, 1960, in the Town of Alma (Wrightsville). The couple lived in the Wrightsville area of Jackson County all of their married lives.

Kathleen was employed at Norplex of Black River Falls and later at Northern Engraving of Sparta. She also had been employed as a cook at numerous restaurants. She and her husband, Clayton, also raised strawberries which they sold at a roadside stand near their home. She was a member of Christian Women, homemakers, and senior citizens of Black River Falls. She enjoyed playing bingo, baking, hunting and visiting with people.

Survivors include her husband, Clayton; a daughter, Carol (Edgar) Juarez of Sparta; three sons, Norman (Tom Ekbom) Reichenbach of St. Paul, MN, James (Debbie) Reichenbach of Lake Mills, and Dale (Anna Youngthunder) Reichenbach of Black River Falls; five grandchildren, Clayton Juarez, Wendy Reichenbach, James Reichenbach, Dale (Angelica) Reichenbach Jr., and Andrew (Jamie) Kassenavoid; nine great-grandchildren, Tayzia, Emillio, Angelina, Angela, Isabella, Shaila, Renae, Jennie and Leora; three sisters, Maryann Michalek of pray, Joanne Michalak of Merrillan and Linda (Ken) Elpert of Unity; four brothers, Raymond (Margo) Reinart of Granton, Robert (Delores) Reinart of Beloit, Larry (Diane) Reinart of Neillsville and kenneth (Elvina) Reinart of Sparta; and numerous other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and an infant son, Carl.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010 at the Buswell Funeral Home, Black River Falls, with Ralph Schram, officiating and burial followed in Riverside Cemetery in Black River Falls.

Friends and family members were invited to call at the Buswell Funeral Home Friday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.
