Spuhler, Inez E. (15 MAR 1931 - 28 DEC 2013)
Inez E. Spuhler, 82,
Loyal, died on Saturday, Dec. 28, 2013, at the Marshfield Care Center. A
memorial service will be held at 1 p.m., on Saturday, Jan. 11, at the Kingdom
Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Neillsville. Burial will take place in the Loyal
Cemetery at a later date.
Inez Elizabeth Free was born on March 15, 1931,
on her family farm, in the town of York, Clark County, the daughter of Herbert
and Inger (nee Searls) Free. She was raised on the family farm and received her
elementary education in the town of York, and graduated from Loyal High School
in 1949. Inez married LaVern N. Spuhler on Dec. 31, 1949. They farmed for a
short time in the Neillsville area, then Marshfield, and in 1955 purchased a
farm in the town of Loyal. In 1968, she went to work at the TRG in Loyal, and
worked there until retiring in 1992. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall of
Jehovah's Witnesses. Inez had many interests, but especially enjoyed spending
time with her family, sewing and baking.
She will be dearly missed by her
husband, LaVern, Loyal; her children, Michael (Sharon) Spuhler, Loyal, Jack
(Barb) Spuhler, Thorp, and Cathi (Dale) Goodwin, Loyal; five grandchildren,
Thomas (Jenny) Spuhler, Loyal, Tracy Fischer, Stratford, Kenneth (Tammy)
Spuhler, Elk Mound, Kevin (Kimber) Spuhler, Hastings, Minn., and Damon (Tracy)
Goodwin, Loyal; six great-grandchildren, Cheyanne and Alexis Spuhler, Sara and
Rachel Fischer, and Samantha and Devon Goodwin; one sister, Viola (Richard)
Buchholz, Christie; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Leatrice Murphy; and
one brother, Donald Free.
