Nolan, Vernon (Injured in Accident - 21 OCT 1952)
Vernon Nolan, 22, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Nolan, was injured on Tuesday of
last week, when a car in which he was a passenger, overturned when it hit loose
gravel and wnet into a ditch near the Ken Dyre farm about 2 miles northeast of
here. The accident happened about 10:00 p.m.
Miss Levade Smith, Loyal,
was the driver of the car. Other passengers were Miss Leanne Vollrath and Nolan.
The girls were severely bruised. Nolan suffered rib fractures and a broken right
collar bone.
Vernon was to have left for induction into the arm on
Wednesday.
