Fortuna, Joseph (5 JAN 1914 - 26 OCT 1952)

Joseph Fortuna, 36, died at his home at 100 Oak Street, Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), on Sunday, Oct. 26, 1952.

Funeral services were conducted on Wednesday at the Holy Family Catholic Church at Willard, with the Rev. Augustine Svete officiating. Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery at Willard.

Mr. Fortuna was born on Jan. 5, 1914 to Anton and Mary Fortuna at Willard. Being an invalid all his life, he made his home with his parents and Willard until he moved with his mother in 1948 to Neillsville, where eh remained until his death. His father preceded him in death.

Surviving are his mother and the following brothers and sisters: Louis Fortuna, Willard; Anton Fortuna, Chicago; John Fortuna, Agnes Fortuna, Neillsville; Mrs. Joseph (Frances) Slemec, Willard; Mrs. Andrew (Mary) Savage, Chicago, and Anna Fortuna, Stanbury, Wyoming.
