Mikottis, Agatha (22 JAN 1892 – 05 JUL 1959)
Mrs. Mikottis was a faithful member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Greenwood
and its St. Ann’s Society.
Mrs. Mikottis, who has been in ill health for several years with heart trouble,
was taken to St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield, Saturday eve, July 4, 1959 and
passed away there early Sunday morning, July 5, 1959 following a heart attack.
The body was brought to the Hill Funeral Home where on Tuesday eve a Rosary was
said.
A Requiem Mass was read at 10 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Wednesday,
July 8th with Rev. Aloysius Madec, pastor of Holy Family Catholic
Church, Willard, officiating in the absence of Father Hartung.
Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
The pallbearer’s were four grandsons; James Johnson, Richard Warren Jr., Robert
Warren and Robert Vizza; John D. Speich and Frank Klinke.
Mrs. Mikottis is survived by her husband, Joseph, Greenwood; four sons, Stanley,
Bensonville, Ill.; Adolph, California; Joseph Jr., Chicago; John, Roselle, Ill.;
six daughters; Mrs. Richard (Sylvia) Warren, Chicago; Mrs. Joseph (Mary) Suda,
Ohio; Mrs. John Martha) Hribar, Chicago; Mrs. Arthur (Anne) Johnson, Wisconsin
Rapids; Mrs. Tom (Agatha) Hendrickson, Champaign, Ill.; Mrs. Richard (Betty)
Hubner, Chicago; 29 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
